Actually, it's rather too bad they do not make paintballs using that hard to remove UV dye that certain anti theft devices use.

One good splat with that, and they're easy to find since the dye will flouresce under UV light, and it's hard evidence to prove beyond doubt that they are your perp.

The problem with involving the cops in most towns, is that they will generally let the kid off with probation, IF they even bother with that, and they'll come back pissed and retaliate.

It's your call, of course, but my method of preference is a beatdown so brutal it will require an ER visit, because if they are in mortal fear of even going NEAR your moped, not only will you have to worry less about that specific punk, his friends will often hesitate to approach it as well.

As a lesson, a little spilled blood goes a long, long way.

Unfortunately, our society has made defending your person or property all but illegal, so if you choose that path, be fully aware of it's potential consequences, long and short term.

Work within Society.

Perp gets maybe probation/community service.

Very good chance they'll seek revenge.

No chance of you facing charges or scorn of others.

Work outside of Society.

Perp gets what they deserve.

Little chance they'll seek revenge.

Significant chance of facing charges yourself, and being considered by society as worse than the perp for the rest of your life.

In the end, it's your decision, however.

You know, a 12 ga.shotgun shell that has been loaded with rock salt instead of the regular shot is a STRONG deterrent to young moped thieves! Make sure to use it at exactly 30 ft. or a little farther(no closer!).That way the wad won't break their skin,but the rock salt will. Have been there...........done that! Also make sure you clean and coat the barrel after running the `no-goods' off.That salt will cause barrel corrosion for sure! Now if you live in a `mamby-pamby' wishy-washy `treat the criminals with respect' State like California or NY or NJ,MN,etc., DISREGARD this advice as they'll put you in jail and give the criminals visitation rights.Ha! wow that's a funny pictur, but strangely disturbing.

Nobody showed up..... I'm actualy disapointed, had my sword and hunting knife sharpned and ready to go. It would have been beautiful. I wait inside the sliding glass door, the punk shows up, i hit the flood lights jump out the door screaming and waveing the sword around.... i think i'll set up a video camera out side, ready to go. They may still show up, we shall see

a blow dart (cheaper and easier to aim than arrows or guns) with 'break-off' tips would be my choice. make a slurry of feces and water, and dip the tips in it. Wait for the perp, aim and shoot 'em in the ass cheek. when they run away and try to pull out the dart the tip will stay in, having to be cut out. the feces on the tip will help gange green set up inside the wound, potentially causing a large amount of tissue to have to be removed.

So when his buddies see him limping around with one of his ass-cheeks missing and ask him,"What happened dude?" He'll just say,"man don't mess with that dude's moped, he's fuckin' crazy..."
