i'm about to try this ... i'm flying to california for a few days to visit my girlfriend. instead of shiping her moped to her, i'm checking it as luggage in a big box. i'm pretty sure i'm allowed two 70 pound suitcases. so i don't see why i can't put the engine in a box and the rest of the bike in another. i hope it works!

I will check out Ebay. I am tempted to buy something new because I don't have a basement to fool around in like with the older bike. I'm on the 6th floor. They said I can take a moped up inthe elevator ! with me and keep it in my hall closet but to buy an old one and work on it in the living room? :))

GK - I have ONE friend in Pittsburgh and I don't think I can send him over - hate to say this about a good friend - but he's shit scared of the xmaniac who has created a scene in his house at New Years. Oh and squeezed his roommate's mother's ass during Christmas. Don't ask me how I married this guy LOL it was caveat emptor , I found him on Ebay LOL

Yeah but I had a TVS from 86 to 92 and can manage it with no clutch, no brake if need be :) sometimes no gas LOL
