They are more expensive for some things than other routes - but I've had good experience through them. (Are you buying a whole moped or parts?)

Sprockets and a Puch shop manual thats what I am looking to buy from them.

Well I always recommend shopping around, but chances are for those if you order from the US (since there isn't many other moped places in Canada) you will have a heftier bill by the time you get your hands on them even if they are cheaper - some parts are good to source out in local shops (There are some places you can go for things like bulbs, sometimes tires and tubes that aren't necessarily moped shops and you save a little bit of cash that way) But sprockets and manuals, definitely toronto mopeds would be a decent local place to get em.

Re: Toronto Moped?

What kind of sprocket do you need? Front or rear? I have nos puch sprockets, front and rear. How many teeth do you need?

I am in the US. I have sold parts to Toronto Moped!

I bought a kick stand from Ike. It cost me 40 Candaian, after exchange and shipping, I don't think that was to bad considering I couldn't get a reply from any moped parts dealer I tried in and around Toronto. I've been to the Toronto Moped site, maybe it's just me but it sounds a bit sketchy.

Re: Toronto Moped?

Paul at TOMoped is on the up and up, it's just that he specializes in new bikes. His parts are fairly expensive in my experience. You might try Alain on this board. He has lots of peds, so lots of parts, is a nice guy and will ship from Montreal. As for shipping from the States, it's about the same as in Canada, except you need to fill out a contents sticker for customs. I had some clutch and magneto covers sent from New Jersy, cost $3.19 U.S. to ship, which is nothing really. ood luck

Re: Toronto Moped?

Toronto moped's prices were too high for me. The only way to get good deals from them is to win something off of ebay. The fact that they don't have a retail location, or even a garage/warehouse to look at stuff has always bugged me.
