what the fuck does that mean?
i spent about five hours in the emergency room today to try to figure out why my arm/shoulder is all fucked and that is what they came up with. i dont know what it means, and i dont like the sound of it. plus, apparently i have to go see like four specialists now, which i cant do. fuck.
maybe this should be in the buy/sell forum. WTB: one working left arm.shoulder combo in decent shape.
ok so basically its like this....
at some point, you either fell asleep with your arm in a VERY funny place or were drunk and for example, passed out with your arm draped over a chair.
the short of it is that you incured some kind of nerve damage in your arm. im guessing you either had pain, or numbness in your arm or hand, maybe your fingers didnt work right?
another way to have this happen is by fucking ALL NIGHT with your arm hyper-extended.
dont trip on it too much, the nerves will grow and repair themselves, BUT, it is a VERY slow process taking months or even years.
monthes or even years = Me tripping my ass off.
Dude that sucks man. My uncle woke up with out his voice, and it took him a year to regain it. i think it was something like what happened to your arm.
Speedy recovery man.

An artist friend overrode his natural instinct to shift position while sleeping. One can use chemicals to do that.
He woke up with two half-dead hands, and couldn't draw for weeks until feeling came back.

I have peripheral neuropathy. Basically, it feels like my whole body is "falling asleep" all day long. Be glad yours will go away. I've had it for 12+ years.
I pray to great Vishnu that you recover quickly.
jeremy, thats exactly what it is like in my arm, like its falling asleep. it comes and goes though. its usually okay after a couple of hours until i fall asleep again.
it mostly comes at night, mostly.
