Go to the hardware store or your local autoparts store (or even WalMart) and buy a plastic 1 gallon gas can.

Put 3 or 4 ounces of 2-stroke oil in the can, fill the rest of the way with gas, shake it up a little, then fill the tank on your bike. Keep a gallon of pre-mix handy, or keep the gas can on your bike.

Usually, about 3 ounces of 2 stroke oil mixed with 1 gallon of gas will give the mixture of 40:1 ratio.

To calculate it for later use this formula:

- 128 ounces in a (US) gallon and the ratio is 40:1.

therefore take the 128 and divide the ratio (40) into it.

128/40=3 (approx).
