is that the Homer's place everyone seems to be talking about? is that on portage rd?

: there is a moped repair place in Kalamazoo!!

Fix it yourself with help from us.

The wiring is a snap, there are wiring diagrams available online. I wholeheartedly approve of the idea of supporting your local shop when it comes to buying parts (unless they are ripping you off), and there are several online parts houses for mopeds. A big part of the fun of moped ownership is being secure in the knowledge that you can fix anything yourself, and have some fun spinning wrenches.
Good Luck
SteveM."

Since you said there are wires hanging loose, the problem may be a bad ground, or improper wiring, and the coil may be okay."
