yea yesterday I put the whole bike together and then realised I hadn't hooked the inlet on the itake back up. I realised it very soon though

sorry to bring up an old thread but if you don't want to use the injector system at the moment and don't want to remove it because of the hassle, can you start mixing your fuel in the tank without an ill effects?

77s have a puch intake that not only has an injector hole, but also puts the carb out to the side so you can fit a dellorto sha with a hi-flow filter.. like $42 though

Running any sort of pump dry is a bad idea. DO NOT simply run pre-mix with nothing in your oil tank.

Not sure how the Puch system is set up, but on my Chappy I just removed the drive gear and put the pump back on, then I plugged the hole in the intake. The pump is still there, so no gaping hole, but it doesn't spin. Look into it.
