My Trash Ped, practice practice

This guy is 95% done. Just a bit more tuning, then I'm going to part it or sell it or something. I got this ped and it was trashed. I've never really built a kitted bike from the ground up, so I thought I'd practice with this one before I get to the real on. Next up is a Gilardoni Magnum.

I pushed this one hard to see what it could take before it seized. Soft seized it, but it sanded out and is good as new, I think, haha. Now, onto bigger and better.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

nice "trash ped"

I think it looks good.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

yeah thats a nice build.

im planning a similar setup wiith the seat mod, and low rise bars with my maxi.

looks like youve got more gearing left to go, what did you top out at?

i always always top out the gears when planning to open up a kitted set up like that

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Yeah, it has stock gearing. Topped it out at 48 GPS confirmed. It feels pretty stable too, not to wobbly or dangerous feeling.

Thanks guys, I learned everything I know about peds (which isn't much compared to a lot of you) right here.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

well that looks like a finished project to me look great, im sure somone will buy that motor if you say you've gone 48 on stock gearing i know i would, thats pretty fast

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

I like it! Good job. where did you get the bars from?

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Bad Ass! If only it was all flat black.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

i like that it says "unsweetened" on it.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Looks great!

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Well, actually I only hit 47.4, but I round up to 48 because I had to take college algebra 3 times. But yes, 47.4 on stock gearing.

The bars are from ebay, $20. Just search "drag bars" and you'll get a million. I cut them down also.

Thanks for the kind words, and it actually says "unsweetened tea." That is what I run instead of premix when I need to blast.

the color scheme on the garage makes it look like a trash garage

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

well, sell me you're trash ped please sir... lol.

really.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Oh, I'm always up for offers if anybody wants it. Shoot me an email or whatever.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Take the front reflectors off, put the seat back in the stock position, or build some kind of cafe seat with a tail section, and that would be a real beauty.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

That thing is nasty. In a good way.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

if you were closer to me i'd buy it.

its gorgeous.

What kinda price are you looking at for it?

fuck. just did mod to my seat...i love it!

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

Wow, thanks, really it means a lot to me.

I'm still not sure if I want to sell it, but I need to empty out the garage. I like it a lot, but I need to start working on my Magnum and I don't really see the point of having both. I was thinking around $600 or something.

Re: My Trash Ped, practice practice

that's an awesome deal. someone needs to buy this and ride it. great work eddie!
