Looking at this site the value of this bike is anywhere from $600.00 to $1,000.00. Of course this is dependent on the condition of the bike. This is a fairly new bike, but it has a lot of miles on it for a moped.
Check the compression if you can. If you do not have a compression tester do it by feel. That is how much resistance does it have when trying to start it. Try this with the bike on the stand, and use your hands to do this test. If you have a hard time trying to start it with one hand, due to the compression, then it has pretty good compression.
Also, pull the plug and look at the color of it. See Freds guide under plug chop to see what the color of the plug means.
If the bike passes these tests the price is about right, at least according to the blue book. Not a bargain, and not being ripped off.
