I saw mike rock from KHZ put some tomos forks on a maxi no problem....
In most cases they will be off slightly due to the differences in head tube length between brands, but can usually be made to work with little trouble. It could be as simple as tapping more threads on the steer tube and using a spacer above the top race.
ooh, i'll have to ask him. i just saw him today, but didn't know that. i know that there are a couple parts bikes on craigslist and one is a tomos
are those honda dirt bike forks?
do you have to use sealed bearing in the front wheel for those?
dual front disc brakes?
that's so rad.
mike
oh ,and is the triple tree from the honda too?
No, that's a Honda MB fork, like I said.
Triple wut?
yep i got tomos forks from jeremy on my maxi. theyre alot beefier, inverted, and i can mount any bars on them. as for fitment i still need to get the right bearings, but it works fine for now. plus the tomos brakes are awesome, and adjustable!
