It's not a moped, it's a scooter, but it has the same top speed as a moped, 30 mph. If you want a scooter that can keep up with traffic, get a Kymco Agility 50 (top speed 40 mph), an Agility 125, or one of the Tomos 150cc models. Any of these will run circles around a stock moped.
