seattle mopeds
I want one too, but for the old style, MV50's Puch, or MS50, or what is known in the states as that Allstate..... I think Rinke's got some, but I don't know what style of bing you are wanting yours for.
Anyway.....
"Rinky Toys":http://www.rinkytoys.nl/
Also, since Rinke's in The Netherlands, and Motor West Inc. has none that size, I used a 58 size jet I have, and ran a couple strands of fine speaker wire down through it. It worked pretty good to make it a bit smaller. I later removed one strand, and it's doin' pretty good! I'd suggest maybe even filling it with solder, and then driling it out with a tiny drill bit, but I don't know where to find one that small. I have many needle size drill bits, but none quite small enough... close, but not close enough.
Also I found that mixing your gas a bit heavy with the oil helps a tiny winy bit, but that's not too cool either. Do you have enough back-pressure in your exhaust?
what is back-pressure?
Did you call/email/directly contact a real person from any the sites you checked? Sometimes they'll have something that isn't listed, or they'll be getting it in soon and they can tell you when.
hi corey! :)
hey buddy. hows it goin? anything new?
will these work for my batavus? they look different than my jet
The jet is the thinnest cylinder on the left? Either I'm confused or you are. Looks to me like you haven't yet unscrewed the jet on the right from the jet holder. Put some vice-grips on the jet holder and unscrew the jet located on the right. I really don't know if you are trying to say something else or what.
yeah the picture is the jet holder with the jet screwed in.
i'm saying that my jet doesnt look like the jets in the ebay auction. will it still fit?
yah, i have a batavus.
if you buy that 56 bing from treats it will work in the batavus jet holder.
wait. does your jet holder have threads on the inside of the tip?
what kind of batavus is it?
not sure what kind it is but heres a picture
and yes it does have threads on the inside. the jet has to screw in somehow!
im just saying the jet looks totally different. its just a thin cylinder with threads on 1 end. there is no bulge thing like in the ebay auction.
i guess i'll just buy one anyway for $4...
sucks that i dont have paypal so itll be extra work to get it
some of the older batavus' didnt have the inside threads to screw in the jet and they were similiar looking to the pic u posted. the older pieces that looked like that had the jet built in and you couldnt swap out jets without swapping out the entire jet holder. thats why i asked.
it should work fine..
paypal is lovely.
Wow, am I confused. So, you're talking about a Batavus with a Bing carb? Is that what they came with? I was not aware of that.
they do not come with bing carb. batavus come with encarwi carbs. they just so happen to be able to use bing jets.
