They still make it, it can be tough to find in some places though. Try mom and pop type gas stations.
They do, but it's hard to find. The only place I ever found it was in a grocery store, but I've heard that gas stations and truck stops are also good.
What's the difference between type A and F? My new Tomos says to use either.
I have a 2008 sprint I will look at the Manual.
If F is needed, Walmart has it
Yes, I find Type A in the local grocery store
Well afetr going to the local 2 stroke raceing shop I bought Belray Gear Saver 90 wt gear oil .This is the product the Tomos dealer told me about.................See what happens. The shop said it was the best 9.99 a qt.
Another premium product is Golden Spectro 80 Wt 2-Cycle Gear Oil. It runs about $6.50 a quart. Heeters has it.
Any drug store has it.
You're using 90wt gear oil instead of ATF fluid? That doesn't sound right.
I would strongly recommend Motul Transoil. I've used it in A55's and A3's and it's worked wonders in both. Later shifting, smoother shifting, better sounding tranny. Seriously give it a shot.
