About a month ago, I found an old Piaggio Si (vespa Si). I think it is about a 1990. I worked on it a little bit, cleaned it up, put some fresh gas in it and it runs. It doesn't run great... but it runs well enough. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on what else I should do with it (performance, maintenance, restoration, etc...) It's the one pictured on my profile.

Luckly... I was able to find the original owner. It was abandoned in an apartment storage garage. He was nice and said that if I gave him back the old plates, he would give me title. Done and done. There are a few rust spots on it, but other then that, the thing is in pretty good health. Oh... i found out that it is a late 80's model... not a 90's.

I was able to get the registration for it and i had to buy insurance for it. My friend gave me his old helmet and now i'm legal to go wherever.
