MOPED ARMY

Can anyone tell me if this is the Laura M48 engine? both are stock from this 1978 Batavus Starflite. Did the factory give more than one carb option? Are different sized carbs only aftermarket for performance? One last stupid question- what spark plug should I be using? I wanted to ask just in case the plug that came with the ped was incorrect to begin with.
