So a while back I scored a rolling Vespa Ciao Chassis and an old Puch of Craig's list for $50. I decided to do something with the Ciao because I had a lot of parts already and I have never worked on a Puch before. Here is what I started with:

I put Grande forks and wheels on it. Welded in the brace and modified the frame to accept the rectangular seat post seat. I built a malossi 65cc engine for it but apparently I have a bad component in the magneto or I wired it wrong. It should be easy to fix.
Currently it has the polini 65cc motor from my orange ciao in it and I have malossi gears for it that I will install once the real motor is fixed and broken in. Other than my motor issue, I'm very happy with how this project is coming out. It's comfortable to ride but it's pretty damn loud. I guess a sporty looking ped should be loud though.
I'll give some more details when it's done done.
