What a great ride that was. I Met a lot of cool people on the way. Made it all the way up to Middlebury VT. I would have made it to the Canadian border if I didn't stop at Lime Rock for a few hours to watch the races.
The ride went well with no major problems. The only problem I had was the head light blowing out. Not a problem. I added an extra Halogen light to the bike. Place under the tomos light. The light has it own switch and fuse. During the day I use the tomos light and at night I use the halogen light. It also makes a good back up in case the tomos headlight blows. I was getting tired of not being able to see a night with the tomos headlight. This halogen light gives you a lighted area of about 1/8 of a mile or so. Best thing I ever added to the bike. I have to add a halogen light to another bike. I will film it and put it on the website if anyone want to know how to do it.
Did a dog rescue on the way back for a mother and son from Lakeville CT. It was at a gas station when the son went into the store to grab some water for the dog. When the mother went to retrieve the water dish, the car door close and locked. It was a Audi. The car was not running and the heat was building inside. After I pulled in the gas station for a break a lady franticly came to me worried about her dog and asked me to help. First I told them to call the Police or a garage to have them come and pop the lock. To keep the dog from baking in the car a wedged two screwdriver in the door frame to open the door a little so the car could vent and not build anymore heat. After 30 minutes the dog was freed by a locksmith. All ended well.
