does anyone know of a place to get tires in the boston or north of boston area? i have a set of snowflakes that i want to put on my other maxi before the boston ride next week. i’ve got tubes, but no tires.
other than tires, is there anywhere to get parts/hardware? i know people have mentioned a few places recently, but i can't find them.
maybe this thread could start to be a little bit of a resource.

"Claude's Cycles":http://www.claudescycles.com/ in Foxboro might have something. I would give him a call. He might have high prices but it is worth a shot. I have not been down to his place in years, so I am unsure what he is carrying. They are not listed on his website but he had a collection of old mopeds and parts.
cool. thanks, fred. i just didn't want to have to deal with mailorder. 1977 ships by ups and i am never home to sign, so i always have to go down to pick up the package.
