Most of the readers of this forum keep the forum in threaded view, but some prefer to use the "Flat View" mode, assessable from the top tool-bar of each post. The main problem with this has been that when somebody replies from flat view their post is tacked on to the end of the list, out of context to what they were replying to.
I've fixed that now, as long as you obey a couple of simple rules. If you rely in flat view by simply scrolling to the bottom and typing your reply, it will show up as a reply to the first post - shoved out of context at the end like normal. But if you click "Reply to this message" from the actual message that your replying to, then when you post it will be appropriately titled and retain it's position in the thread.
This lets people who prefer flat view reading to continue to use it, while making their post more valuable and in context for the regular threaded view readers.
