70cc kits for Tomos Advice Please

I have been looking into these 70cc kits for the tomos mopeds and they seem like a good way to go. I would like to hear from anyone who has used them on their bike.Good or bad experiences, what other parts did you replace and what kind of results did you have? I am very capable of installing the parts myself and am not so concerned with doing 60mph on one of these things as I am in haveing it do a consistant 40mph with more pickup on the bottom end.

Any advice/replies would be greatly appreciated. :o)

rather than trying to reword and cover everything i'd say just do a forum search for "70cc" including all dates. that will get you all the information you need.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BUY A 60CC, OR 70CC BORE KIT!!!!! I HAVE SPENT OVER $500 IN REPAIRS TO MY TOMOS, DUE TO THE KIT I HAVE!!!! ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!! JUST BUY A BITRUBO AND A 27 TOOTH SPROKET. THAT IS ALL THE SPEED A MOPED COULD EVER NEED!!!! DONT GET THE KIT!!!!!!

Thanks dave and tim,,,, I have taken your advice and decided not to take a chance on the kit. I went to a local cycle shop yesterday and got a biturbo and will install it monday when I get to my shop. If I see enough improvement in the bottom end I may try the larger sprocket also, but they didnt carry one at the cycle shop, I will have to order one online.

Anyway ,,thanks again, Im glad I found this site!!
