Well, me and the girliefriend are considering setting up a 50cc club up here in Vancouver Canada. Any of you folks from around our region? Wanna get together from time to time and impede traffic? :D

That's a hell of a ride to get there - but I think I just might do that :)
I did a search in the resources forum and see that there are about 60 registered owners in Vancouver.

I'm slowly putting my '82 Express back together, and when I do I'll be buzzing all over Vancouver.
I also know 3 people who ride Yamaha BWS's, plus someone with a Piaggio Typhoon. Scooters, not mopeds, but they're crazy and fun loving so you might take what you can get.
Sweet dude :) If you need a hand, lemme know. And yeah - the club would totally be scooter friendly.
On another note - I have had my Cimatti for a week - I have put 500 miles on it. My ass HURTS.
Woot for a vancouver group. I've currently got 3 guys here in mission in our own mini club. I'm definently going to the Seattle rally, so if you feel like coming along, we could go in a nice, all canadian convoy :D.
When is that rally? I think I'd be into it (hopefully the Cimatti is too) and I am pretty sure the girlfriend would be into coming (she rides a scooter), but I need to know about time off needed...
It's from august 8th-11th. I've already got the 8th-10th off so I'm at least going those days. I'm bringing my buddy with me, along with our FA50's. How often do you plan on haveing rides? and where abouts do you plan?
I was trying to find a way for us here to get our mopeds over to Van, we thought maybe the West coast express, but I don't think they'll let a "motorized" form of transportation on the train. I'm currently planning a day long drive for this summer, just gotta find a place and time.
Well, if you have a few people chipping in on the cost, you can rent a U-haul for like 30 bucks a day, and load that bitch up with hundreds of 'peds :)
As for the rides, we're thinking of doing it every couple of weeks to start with, with routes ranging from Vancouver-Fort Langley, to maybe even Harrison Hot Springs for a camp-out weekend. If there is call for it, we might do weekly rides :)
BTW - we're thinking of calling ourselves the Suicycles :D
Hahaha, awesome. I'm not quite sure how often I'd be able to make it out for the rides, but I'd be up for finding more members on the eastern side of the valley. I'm actually going to go to the house of another rider I saw earlier in the month (not sure what he was riding, as he was faster than me ;p) and see if I can recruit him. Hopefully we can create a nice little group here in canada.
For the rally, I'm gunna see how well I can pack our peds into my sprint, lol. I've managed to fit my solex in the back, so it should be possible. There's no way I'd ride the whole way to Seattle on my moped. If we could get a few people together for the rally, I'd be up for getting a U-haul, but I'm not sure if we're allowed driving across the border.
In January, I had to sell my 2000 Dakota because I couldn't afford the gas anymore. Damn. I do have an Accord though, and I think I could fit my bike in the trunk, but not the scooter. I'll call the border cops tomorrow and ask about a U-haul - there might be a way we could do it...
Awsome, email me when you find out about the border thing. Either way, we should meet up before we head down. This is actually going to be my first rally, so I'm stoked :D.
