Help identifying Sparta Moped

Hi! I'm new here and I just became a proud owner of this 1980 Sparta moped. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the model. If you could help me identify the model I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Here are a couple of pictures of my moped:

Re: Help identifying Sparta Moped

Ok, that is a 1980 Sparta. Black with chrome. Very low milage. New LOTS OF SHIT

It has 800 miles on it. It had a blown motor at 400 miles, after which i replaced it with an almost NOS 504 from someone i got off the forums for a pretty penny. I also bought a new seat and a bunch of other stuff for it. Its as mint as it looks.

Then i traded it to the guy who you bought it for for another bike.

Its in super shape, that guy does everything super right, im sure you can tell by talking to him. He's a rider.

Thats a beautiful bike no matter how you chop it.

that little bracket holding the exhaust is my and bj from handybikes work to hold a g3 exhaust on there ( its new too )

Come to think of it, that Carb is new old stock too, and the tires are new.

you should see the brakes in those wheels, they are like new.

Re: Help identifying Sparta Moped

Sweet. Thanks for shedding all of that info.

I appreciate it.

Re: Help identifying Sparta Moped

It has had alot of expensive stuff that warrent to its price.

The 504 in it is an a cylinder, the carb is new and a 12mm, the exhaust was new and is a g3 pipe like i said, the points and condesor are new, the condensor wasnt old it was brand spanking new when i put it in, the seat was pricey, I did the petcock...it was a real work.

Anytime ya get a chance to get a bike from that seller, i almost always do - like i said he's not a bike flipper he rides and rides for real. He is super super detailed and went over that after i did and put super high quality nuts and bolts on the racks where they attatch to the body and shit - he's bonkers about doing shit right, but then again thats cause he rides obscene miles and cannot have shit flying off.

You should see the inside of that 504 cylinder - I took it off just to inspect it, and the crosshatch pattern from the shop was still all there.

Can you tell i miss that bike a little?

Andrew... I can tell you miss the bike a lot haha.

So you know Dave (the man who sold the bike to me)?

He is really nice and knowledgeable about his stuff. He made me feel comfortable buying from him.
