To answer your questions triumph3434:
1. How much did they pay you?
$300 a bike, plus a little extra as a day rate to be a moped wrangler.
2. How did they contact/find you?
It's a long story, but I work as a photo assistant and I sold a 103 to a friend who works art department for a lot of big name photographers. His boss saw his new moped and got in contact with me. He told me he needed 4-5 mopeds. I called friends and took photos of about 20 bikes for them. They picked the ones they wanted.
3. Did they crash em or anything? Did they treat em well.
They treated them great and all the bikes got super cleaned up. I was there the whole time and I knew most of the crew so it was a pretty chill day. Teaching them to ride was a little sketchy, and one kid laid it slowly onto it's side after hitting the front brake in dirt. Nothing major.
All the bikes are blue.
None of them were kitted, the Puch is ported. Kitted bikes would have killed those guys.
This type of thing happens quite a lot out here and I know both Choke and Myron's have rented/sold bikes for movies and commercials.
