Davey,
Good voice of reason. My daughter passed her moto permit this week (CA) & so we went riding on the bravos (I rode blue, she rode red) this evening. Every time I looked in my mirror and saw we were holding up motorist (35mph speed zone), I looked for a pull-out. One guy was only behind us for about a quarter mile & I'm looking for a pullout. He raged. He passed us as close as he could (over the speed, limit, passing on a blind curve with a double-yellow line). Had I had my collapsable baton, he was close that I could've done damage (I'm only 230 lbs., that can come in handy).
Later I cooled off. What harm did he really do? Nothing. He was impatient & pissed me off. My daughter handled well. I think she did well on the maiden voyage. I can learn from her. She's going to be a good rider.
