Howdy All,

I just put my '76 Sachs Colombia on the road after sitting for about 10 years (and before that, sitting about 20 years). Needless to say, the tires are severely dry rotted. I've been looking online but would like to find something local as I'm not sure how much longer these tires are going to hold air on my daily Comm Ave. construction trek. They are 17"x 21 1/4 (I think) and ideally I'd like to get whitewalls but will settle for anything that holds air. I just got laughed out of Bicycle Bill's in Allston. PLEASE HELP!!!

they have Michelins for like 11 bucks and Kendra tubes cheap

If they really are 17x2 1/4, that's the same size a Puch uses. You want Michelin Gazelles. Nothing else compares. 1977 has them, unless they are out of stock. Peace. Jerry.

Gazelles or IRC's all the way.

www.denniskirk.com has irc's super cheap. Great tire for the money.

Only a bitch to get on the rim. Gazelles are murder if your not used to tires.

i need a set of gazelles for my moby right now i have a 17X2.5 on front and a 17X2.75 on back which hits my fender

theyre only like $11 each on ronayers.com but they want $12 each for shipping but at seacoast sport cycle in windhan nh they can get them for $11 each and no shippin charge

thats the ducati dealer il go up there tomorrow and order them i think il ride the moby up

they love it when i go there on old mopeds and motorcycles
