motron/garelli teeth

I have a 77 garelli sport, the wheels are really rusty, so I'm contemplating using some snowflakes from a Motron, I'm parting out. the motron motor a v-1 has 10 teeth on its sproket, and the wheels has 44. the garelli has 10 teeth on its motor, and only 32 teeth on it wheel. the bolt pattern looks like it'll fit over fine, I don't know how to do the math, but what does this tell me about the differnce in these motors? Just a trivia questiion I guess.

Re: motron/garelli teeth

using a 44 instead of a 32 will give you better low end and worse top end.
