I have a Magnum XK that I got in pieces, still mostly that way, and I just got to thinking that I've never seen any bracket for the starter cable to mount to the frame (so it can pull on the clutch arm). Is this bracket removable? Can anyone get me a close up photo of how the starter cable is mounted? Does it mount to the engine somewhere instead?
I don't even see a spot on the frame where it might have been clamped or even once welded and broken off. There's no scratches in the paint anywhere in the area where it would logically be located.
Dammit, I was hoping to get this thing put together this weekend :(
