shiney exhuast tomos

hey guys that thing on a tomos exhuast its like chrome kind of thing.. What is it?

and why do people remove it from there peds?

and should i remove mine?

Re: shiney exhuast tomos

it is a heat shield, that's the part of the pipe that gets the hottest, not including the header which is tucked up under the motor. if you remove it, you might burn your leg.

Re: shiney exhuast tomos

oooohhh why the heck do people take them off than?

they look alright and taking them off leave 2 holes exposed

because some people dont like the chrome look.

Matt Tozer took his off because he wanted his moped to be dark.

Re: shiney exhuast tomos

leave it on, if you want your moped dark, buy some spray paint

Re: shiney exhuast tomos

Yea ray i saw his street and was hoping to do somthing like his with the handlebars.

So its just a heat shield nothing else, and if i take it off it just affects appearance not performance or anything?

its sad that happened though he was great guy.

i dont think you should take it off.

but it wont affect performance.

thanks

Re: shiney oil injectors

if you don't mind nasty burns on your legs, you can take it off and not experience any performance gains or losses.

Re: shiney oil injectors
