I don't doubt there were 175's. I have seen 125 Bennelli
engines in minibikes. 125 was often the premium engine.
Often in the same frame where a briggs and stratten or
Tecumseh was more common.
I think parents where reluctant to buy the Bennelli engine for fear of the kid crashing.
BTY I have a Bennelli 125 engine in storage. It is in a full size bike though.

I just met some guy that has one of those in his garage along with everything else he has touched in his life time. He will be on the news shortly when they clear his house of the few metric tons of motors and what not. His Benelli looked in a little better shape and was a kick start
