the yamaha starts and runs great just needs a bit of lube on the throttle cable

the honda is missing the air box and the battery box and it has no compression

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

Those urban expresses look so comfortable. If you need parts let me know, my local salvage has a couple, No air-boxes though

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

Nice score.

That black express looks like the one that was kicking around up in amesbury for a while. Those things go forever.

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

i dont think its very comfortable but im 6 foot 4 so not many small bikes are too comfortable for me

of course it happens that the urban express engine is a bit different than the express sr engine

the head is stripped out so the plug wont tighten up but i have the inserts so might as well use them

il probably just hack an airbox on it and il make a battery box but this might be hard cause i have to make it look kind of nice eventually im going to sell both of these cause im damn broke

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

too bad you don't live near me, or i'd give you my extra urban express head...

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

Nice score, I'am always on the lookout for a qt-50!

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

i cant believe how clean this one is no dirt on the engine at all it doesnt make any sense for a 23 year old bike that has 2500 miles on it

Re: traded my solex off yesterday for these

Matt Scout The Scouting Dcon /

I'll look at the extra engine I have, I think the top end is good if you are interested in it.
