Re: Technigas pipe

what does it mean to open up the piston? just curious

Re: Technigas pipe

Nothing to special, just widened the intake slots to allow more air/fuel to enter the crankcase.

Re: Technigas pipe

the drifter /

i appreciate the concern harold, i know how the 2 strokes work. Is there anyplace to buy a piece for a larger main jet, i dont care about increaseing the idle jet. The only place i found it was at 1977 but im not a fan of removing the side panel to expose that foam filter. How would you upjet a ST, increasing the gas flow into the engine wont increase the oil flow will it??

Re: Technigas pipe

1. turn off your gas

2. take your carb off

3. take the float bowl off your carb

4. remove regular mainjet

5. put in new jet 2 -3 sizes bigger

6. put carb back on and voila!

faster healthier bike!
