our friend Tozer,

Raymond Wright IV /

in new jesey today about 5:45 p.m. on route 83,

matt tozer was hit by a chevy malibu.

some of you know him, but he is my best friend.

his wreck was so bad that the only part of it not bent was his tecno bullet pipe.

he broke nearly all of his bones and ripped his aorta in his heart.

he IS still living.

He ripped the side of that car to shreds.

plus he was in the right lane.

just minding his own buisness cause we were gonna hang out

today, and meet up and i was only a few mins away.

if any of you guys are the praying type,

please kep him in your prayers.

Re: our friend Tozer,

no way. that is horrible.

Re: our friend Tozer,

what is his "condition" in the hospital?

and how did his helmet work out?

Re: our friend Tozer,

I'll keep him in my thoughts.

he is in a coma.

his helmet was surprisingly fine.

the face sheild was a football field length away from him.

my dad was gonna take his moped so we could fix it but

debris was everywhere.

I WAS RIGHT THERE.

i feel so bad.

i had someone take me to atlantic city to see him, but

he lost a lot of blood...

Re: our friend Tozer,

Count me in , I'm thinking with ya .

I'm not the praying type, but I will definitely be thinking about him and keeping my fingers crossed.

Shit man, I'll be thinking about him when I wear my full face tomorrow despite the heat. I usually ditch it for my 3/4 helmet...

Re: our friend Tozer,

Raymond Wright IV /

he'S only 16.

his whole family is really worried about him

and his girlfriend is the only one that was allowed to go with.

Re: our friend Tozer,

So were you guys riding....or just sitting at a intersection?

oh my gosh.

fingers crossed. He will do alright. Keep your head up dude.

Re: our friend Tozer,

ussually trama that serious with his new heart condition, and fractured body, the coma is generally medically induced.

thats awesome his helmet did its job. do you know if his ribs were broken?

and what about the party in the chevy malibu? wtf was their problem?

_Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. And so, it is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without heart._

- Mahatma Gandhi

I think some of us might be more prayerful than we think... always very sad to hear about another moped casualty, sincerely hope Tozer can pull through.

Re: our friend Tozer,

Of course, will do. I knew a girl who was in a bad accident in high school, they kept her in a coma for what seemed like an eternity but she healed much quicker that way. Keep us updated and let us know if his bike needs anything, I'm sure waking up to find his ride waiting for him would help a lot.

our friend Tozer,

That is terrible news. Your friend is in my thoughts.

Re: our friend Tozer,

This is some really sad news. I hope he snaps out of it and starts on the mend. Head and body injuries are life altering. I speak first hand as I'm still recovering (and some parts never fully will) from being t-boned at in intersection in 2004. Steel and pavement are very unforgiving. It might be a long road back, Tozer's going to need good people around him all of the time, all of the way down that road. Rally around him and be strong. He'll feel it.

As for the operator of the car, what's up. Did they stop, were they sober, insured, etc. His family needs a lawyer. Sad to say but it's a necessary evil, particularly to provide rehab if needed and cover any/all medical expenses. This attorney certainly shouldn't be Uncle Vinny, or the friend who knows a friend whose brother does wills and estates, no, it needs to be a reputable firm that handles accident liability, not some firm that flashes ads on TV. All this stuff is totally important if this hasn't been done already. A good lawyer can and will make all the difference in Tozer's recovery.

our friend Tozer,

this is awful news and i will definately pray.

Re: our friend Tozer,

We're here. You only need to ask.

Re: our friend Tozer,

Damn, that pisses me off hardcore man, I'll keep him in my prayers, if he lived through that much, he's gonna pull through no doubt.

Re: our friend Tozer,

I will be praying for him. I've seen some bad situations turned around, so I know it can happen.

Re: our friend Tozer,

i will for sure keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Re: our friend Tozer,

Prayer sent. Hope he pulls through. Keep us updated and what was up with the drivers of the car?

Re: our friend Tozer,

I just read where Matt Tozer passed away today.
