I thought tomos targa lxs were only kick start?

Got a 2002 tomos targa lx, I thought it was only kick start (where you back pedal it). I know I'm stupid, but I'm bored and don't want to go out in the middle of the night to find out, but it says online on tomos usa that the tomos lxs were both kick and pedal start.

Does that mean I can just pedal it to start the 02 version too? I seriously thought it could only be started by kick starting it sinc it didn't have that lever that my old sachs had that you pulled up on when you pedaled it to start it.

A pedal model Tomos can either be kick started on the stand, or kick started while sitting on the wheels, but either way, you HAVE to pedal it backward to start it, which also rules out push starting. Peace. Jerry.

Oh, I'm and idiot, I thought that since it said it was pedal start too that it meant I could start it by forward pedaling (in addition to backward pedaling, or kick starting).

So I'm guessing you can't start a tomos targa lx by forward pedaling?
