I've recently acquired an old broken Magnum II and am currently in the process of getting it working again. Among other things, it needs a new set of 17x2.5" tires. Any ideas as to where I could get some? Thanks!

any online moped shop.
dennis kirk also has a good selection.
Go to the wiki (link up at the top of the page there.) Search for "tires". I added my tire link collection to that page, so you should have plenty of sources to check out. If the shipping charges seem exorbitant, you should call the company and see if that's the real value; a lot of times they estimate based on motorcycle tires, not smaller, lighter moped tires.
You can also try to find some locally and save on shipping -- most local motorcycle or powersports dealers should be able to get you some.

Have you ever heard og Google? Do a search there.
amazon marketplace sometimes has tires for cheep
a local motorcycle shop with a parts unlimited account can probably order you a set.
Go to your local motorcycle dealership, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc. Ask to see their Parts Unlimited Catalog (also available free from them on CD). Look up the size and brand tires you want and order right there at the dealership. Their prices are CHEAP, and you don't have to pay shipping!
You will have your tires in hand within 3-5 days. It's that simple. Go anywhere else and I guarantee you will pay more and have to pay shipping on top of the inflated prices. Listen to me, I do it all the time. No better way to buy tires for your moped.....period.
