Done. I will happily register your moped in California and mail you the title and plate. Should take about two weeks to your mailbox. Just send me the VIN, I'll throw in the reg. fee.
If I was still in Florida i'd do it for cost... Someone should step Up and get this Ped(s) on the road.. (I'm In WI now and don't think they are as liberal sri
there U go... Bret big props to U
um...or you could just forge a bill of sale from Idaho (mopeds don't need reg. there) and go get the titles yourself and not have to pay brett hoffman $200.
sorry brett
lydia, where would i get the titles? if i forged a b.o.s?
bill of sale from a non titling state should be all they need.. If it never needed a title then it should be kewl there
tried that... a few times, they're impossible.... "no title, no previous registration = no registration"
sri Jay.. that bites.. but you'll get hooked up here i'm sure
cool, i hope so.
If you are going to do the California thing you need both the VID or frame number and also the engine number.
See DMV Form Reg230
i live just north of woonsocket rhode isliand, in franklin. i can do it asap for you. i dont have shit to do tomorrow either.
what if they come from mass?
you can register in mass without title or previous reg.?
i work in woon...
Someone on this site should just open there own titling service. Someone who lives in like MN or someshit. Just make the person pay for a vin # search to prove it's not stolen and charge like 50bucks+the cost of the papers/plates/bullshit. I guarantee they would make out like bandits and make a lot of people happy on this sight. Of course they would have to keep it on the low, I have a cousin in the twin cities who is going to hook me up, but not everyone has that option.
i'm also in the cities, and its pretty damn easy to get titled here.
U got that shit right
bill of sale should be fine, if not ill work my skills on a ladie working, and if not that ill throw a fucking fit, i yell at them all the time in milford to stop giving us a hard time to register a fucking moped.
we just need a bill of sale and what model it is and done
Id do it here, but we have liberal title requirements but getting one when you have to is insane if theres not already one. Like notarized bill of sale, certified letter, color pictures of all 4 sides of the vehicle, 10-day ad in the local paper with VIN and description, etc. Luckily mopeds dont require title or registration.
You should try google search, Do "vehicle title search" see if that helps. Bill
the last time i did one in ma. i had to show proof that i paid sales tax.
you can pay do it online, here's the address if you want it
https://wfb.dor.state.ma.us/WebFile/WSI/Public/WebForms/ST6/RecreationTaxDefault.aspx
they would not let me reg. until i had one of the ST-6 forms
(one of these days i'll figure out how to post a link here) lol
did you also need title or previous reg.?
Florida - Bill of sale and about $35 gets you registration and a license plate.
The only problem I can think of is that the DMV might want to see the bike if the seller on the bill of sale doesn't have a FL address.
no title needed just a bill of sale
it was the first time for that sales tax thing
i kinda freaked me out at the time but, it only takes a couple mins. and a creditcard online so i made it back to the registry the same day.
i'm not reading all the listings but if you want it done let me know.
Ca is no problem.
course maybe it's just the bloodsuckers in boston takin it out on the western part of the state again...no offense anyone
who knows they might not even ask you about sales tax.
i was under the impression that your moped had to be registered in your state of residence, i.e. where you are licenced...am i wrong here?
he wants its registered by someone and sold to him so he has previous registration to show r.i. dmv
oh man good thinking...looks like im gonna have to do that too...doh im from RI as well
