MOPED ARMY

"Back in the late 70's there were tons of mopeds on the road in Union, NJ. Now you rarely see them on the streets anymore. I see them relegated to ""pit duty"" at flea markets and car shows. That ain't no life for a moped. It should be out on the open road where it belongs!<p>: Do you ever feel like you're the only moped on the road? Do you ever wish mopeds could outnumber cars, SUV's, Harley's and trucks? Next time you plan a vacation, go to Moped City. There may be one near you. I'm talking about those out-of-the-way resorts where mopeds are thick as fleas. My favorites <br>: are the Florida Keys, Santa Catalina,<br>: anywhere in Hawaii and about anyplace on a barrier island such as North Carolina's Outter Banks. If you know of others, tip us off.<p>"

"We are trying to turn Kalamazoo into moped city. last summer we rode in packs almost every night, with the largest group being 8.
