Come to Midwest GP next year and race!!
Look at all these cool guys. Big howdy yehaw!
Yeah, lots of fun! Our summer filled up with family stuff so I couldn't make it this year but I'll try next summer.
I swear I'm gonna make it one of these years!
Awesome!!! I'm in. Definitely want to hit more races next year. Mopedgpeast was fun, but those guys told me that if I wanted to see some fast bikes and have some competition, I woul have to head west.
My moped race season starts up on the ice in Saratoga springs this year.

Some classes are more competitive than others. But assuming you'd run the s6 hobbit, unlimited has some fast bikes 🙃
That does look super fun. I don't think I'd ever build anything really raceworthy, and mostly whenever I race I just crash like a LOT, but I wanna build something for someone else, or just go chill.
I actually ran 2 different classes with both hobbits and they killed it. but running back to back classes was exhausting. Stage 6 bikes dont get any love anyway haha, if you win its because stage 6 won for u. Id probably just run the metrakit bike this time unless there are actually other running stg6 bikes.
is there a place where I can review class rules?

I ran a s6 bike (admittedly poorly tuned). I still lost.
Rider skill is a real thing!
I think hybrid builds are becoming more common in unlimitied. This year we had 2.
Tim and Shane are playing on ludicrous mode, Ed's program is impressive as well. I was almost more impressed by the 'stock' class, Lee, Jesse, Shane, and Ed made for an awesome 4 way battle.
The full leathers is the only thing that makes it tough, its cheap as hell, you can camp, and literally show up with any bike you have that's not a totally jank disaster.
I don't totally remember from last year but i think there were some pretty good battles amongst the slower bikes as well, about 5 people in 'kitted non variated' were all running hard for 5-10th place

Ain't that the truth 🤣
Oh and dont forget Toby.
I still think it would be hilarious to putt around the course in stock class on an unmodified 20mph bike.

Do it.
You could theoretically enter 3 classes and be lap traffic.

When and where is it?
I can't wait to be lap traffic
We'll see, I may be out hiking then. My super siqqqq 1995 jawa (25 mph model) might be the bike for this. Fastest bike on the track with a jikov carb!
Year of the Midwest GP lap traffic!
I really like the idea of making GP races more of a team sport
I am too big of a person to ever win a race but I can tune a motor for a tiny man for sure
I love the idea of a mopedGP team. Count me in, pit crew manager
So uhh relay race??
