Figured I'd post here since I cant send photos in our PM convo and maybe someone else might find it useful.
I have painted glitter/flake from spray paint cans a couple ways.
This was painted Teal, Then sprayed with green glitter, Then cleared with spraymax 2k. This way the glitter is on top. . . and if its a solid color like the frame I think it works. but if its like the tank below, I think I should have done red paint then glitter and then black so the glitter was only on the red.

This is a video showing the glitter that doesnt have paint in it. its just clear coat with glitter. The green glitter on the left is what I sprayed over this teal paint with.

This tank was done the same way.
I painted it red and then did the black lace. Then I did silver glitter over everything and clear coated it.
