^ so MUCH this, totally changing the way people interact, NOTHING good about it at all! F Zuckerberg, in a way tough, it's not all on him, the government involvement has caused changes that he prob never thought about, he just wanted to make money, but now that everything on there is avail to the fed, he has to play by their rules to keep his company. All the "good" things about social media that people put forth as reasons to have it, like keeping in touch with family/pic sharing etc, were already avail on many other forms of communication, there was no need for social media at all. The term social engineering makes my skin crawl, but that's exactly what it is, and one day the people who grew up without social media will all be gone, and then their experiment will be complete. I still can't figure out to what end, maybe to be able to feed us "opinions" without having us talk amongst ourselves, and to learn from other real people who have had real experiences, and if we do talk to each other they can see every word of it.
