Hello, i ride with the Socal Pigs out of Los Angeles. Does anyone know of any rally's happening here...
there's only one way a rally happens in your city, you've got to host one.
Weekly or regular rides are a good way to start. It's seemed like cross valley were building to an eventual rally, but i may have imagined that.
get your group together and flesh out some fun rides.
ride them over and over again to nail them down.
get a couple non ride events thought out to do in between rides. Nonstop riding will bootyblast even the most enthusiastic person.
try to get some cheap or free housing options lined up for visitors so it's easier for people to come.
you'll need an hq for people to land and wrench. assume people will be showing up with their bikes torn down in boxes.
rallies don't need to be expensive or large scale to be fun. the best rally i've ever been to was out of the good homie's mom's house.
that being said, you should have some money on hand for stuff like food , gas, and emergencies.
assume that some, if not all visitors will be showing up broke, hungry, and completely lost.
money can be raised by raffling stuff off before or during a rally. most people are happy to help.
go to some rallies in other cities to get a feel for the community and to know what to expect. blood drive would be a good one.
LA has the benefit of having rally weather year round. so you can travel around, make friends, and come back to host a rally while they're all locked indoors and itching for something to do.
good luck. i'm excited to attend your rally. I'll need a loaner.
Make it a point to attend a few rallies this year for sure. Spread the word about your possible rally. Make it happen.
What about the latebirds 2022 rally?

Not happening. groups or gatherings of more than 10 white guys have been illegal in California for like 7 years.
