I’m in Rome. I know a couple other people in the area. I want to get something together this summer possibly.
I want to see where everyone is from, and who’s willing to travel. Etc.

Yes it is. I’m continuing a build that has been in the non-variated and unlimited class the last few years..will be starting a build thread soon.
But you don’t have to build a race bike to race. Whatever you have will fit into a class. There’s Stock/Stock+, variated, non variated, unlimited, shifter scooters..just come by and we will walk you through what class your bikes fit into. More info to come.

“What are you listenin to?”
The Vandals dood!!
Syracuse NY checking in! Yessssss cherry valley rules. I am definitely interested in joining the variated class.
I don’t know what campgrounds are near that track. But, I was thinking that Delta Lake State Park has a campground. There are stores close by. The roads have pretty wide shoulders, for safe travel. Until you get into Rome, then it’s 30 mph anyway.
But, there are a lot of awesome backroads to cruise on. We could do a lap around the lake.
I could get info on when they open, and prices on sites. They have cabins too I think. They have showers, a camp store (there are supermarkets close by too, a few minutes away) some awesome hiking trails, swimming, fishing, etc.
I want to have a rally this summer… let’s do this!
Actually the first time I went to those races we found a GREAT camping spot. It's called stoney pond and it's everything you want. Lots of great trails and hiking, a couple big ponds aaaand it's like pretty much lawless. There's no booth no workers just well maintained campsites and trails. You are supposed to call the number and get a permit or whatever for a night but like I said it's really just any empty site you can grab. Look into it, it's a stone's throw from the track.

Lawless?!?!? That’s EXACTLY what I’m thinking. I mean, I don’t want it to get too crazy. But I want everyone to have fun.
I sent off an email to Lafayette Motorsport Park about moped races. I didn’t see any on there online calendar. And I want to plan this around a race weekend/day. I am hoping to plan this far enough ahead of time to give people time to plan to come, and get permits, find lodging or whatever they want to do.
Until I get a date for a moped race, I’ll set a tentative date for June 11. That’s an open practice day at that track. Either way it should be a good time.
June 10-12
Fairly certain the dates are set for Lafayette.
Open track days are great! We have a FB page with the latest updates.
August 27th and 28th are confirmed
