I just bought a 1979 Puch Kromag. It's the Sears Free Spirit model. Runs great, easily hit 30 on the speedo. Just over 1200 miles. This is by far the nicest vintage moped I've ever had. I still haven't gotten it home, I have to wait till Monday to use my son in laws truck to go pick it up with.

They are also larger than a maxi and has most of the larger magnum type stuff on them. Forks, swing arm, pedal shaft, all nice and big for large adult type folks.
I won't get it home till tomorrow. Those reflectors, turn signals, switches, and all that wiring have to go. It looks like a rolling junkyard. I'm sure those turn signals are aftermarket. I'm sure there will be things that need to be sorted out, but that's part of the fun. Thanks for the compliments. It's definitely different from a Tomos and a Puch Maxi.
Those turn signals are aftermarket, should be a little box somewhere that holds 4 c batts to make them work, not hard at all to remove.
I finally got it home tonight, after dark. Can't wait to start tearing into it tomorrow. With a little cleaning this thing will look brand new. NO rust or corrosion. Original seat cover is perfect. A 43 year old time capsule. When I first started looking for a moped, my plan was to modify it. But I don't think I want to chop this up.
