Just added a Choke Handle for the Bing Carb to the Wiki.

Here is the link for convenience.

Bing Choke Handle

If you want one and don't have access to a 3D printer, I can do it for $10 shipped, just PM me.

Looks like a winner . ;)

You sound like a 3D printing pro!

It would be modern day school boy thing to do! Any surface in my old schools had a penis drawn on it, but it is difficult nowadays with tablets and interactive whiteboards.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Do you offer them in black?

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Steven Grant /

Yes, I can do black.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

But can you do the cocks?

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Steven Grant /

I rubbed one out this morning. I'll have to see how well it prints when I get home tonight.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Total hero! Try knocking one out when you finish work and also print the cock. You post to France, right?

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Still needs a little fine tuning...

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Fucking ACE! You sir, have made a grown man feel like a schoolboy again! I can see you have been working HARD ON this and it has been a STROKE of genius, you have COME a long way and BEATEN OFF the STIFF competition of boring Bing chokes. Can you actually post to France?

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

You're a goddamn hero, sir!

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

A new era of cock chokes has dawned. I will someday look back with pride and nostalgia that I was here when this happened.

As soon as I get home, a pgbg boner choke pull is going on my carb.

Thank you for giving higher purpose to my next few days.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

I laughed my ass off at that! My wife wasn’t nearly as impressed. 🤷‍♂️

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Never have so many grown men wanted your cock so badly. I assume.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

HOW MUCH TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY!

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

A few more tweeks and he'll be ready for market

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Need a velocity stack to go with it?

No no no.

A velocity snatch. get it right.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

LMFAO

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Have you finished "tweaking" the tip yet? Now you're just being a cock teaser.

Something a bit more practical. SHA to stock Maxi air box.

And damn this bike has been sitting too long. That chain is drier than the velocity stack I posted. (edited)

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

Very cool, loving this thread

Ever thought of doing Honda Hobbit and Camino plastic parts? I hear they are in high demand. Fenders, carb covers, light covers etc.....Or if you can use a plastic that is Gas Proof you could make Gas tanks?

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

PETG and TPU are both gasoline resistant but the problem with 3D printing a tank would be getting it to be totally nonporous, FDM printing is a bunch of stacked beads of plastic.

I’m not familiar with resins used in resin printing, it’d be more practical for a totally airtight print, but the resin printers that could handle something the size of an average moped gas tank get really expensive.

Re: 3D printed moped parts wiki

And you sent me down a rabbit hole…. Seems what most people have had success with is 3D printing a mold for fiberglass, but then you have the issues with fiberglass tanks.

TPU is a common and fairly easy to print filament but you still have the issue with layer lines seeping. Not too many adhesives or coatings like to stick to TPU. It’s good for fiberglass molds for that reason.

The one readily available solvent that has an effect on TPU is DMSO. I’ve used acetone to “polish” abs prints to make flower pots that will hold water. Next time I’m at the farm store I’m gonna grab some DMSO and see how it does on a TPU print.

TPU is rather flexible, it has the consistency of a hard rubber, I don’t know how practical it would be for a free standing tank but it could be cool with polished metal supports wrapped around it. Use a translucent TPU and mount a bright LED under your gas cap and you won’t need a fuel gauge. Plus it’ll be obvious if you forgot to premix.

Damn. I have an unopened 1kg roll of clear TPU. Something may be getting an auxiliary tank.

If anyone wants has a top tank they want a cool tank for get at with me with a few spoils of filament. My max print size is a 300x300x310. and if I ever stop being lazy and tune it properly, moped excuses, Ive got a

Duex machine so two color prints or embedded reinforcements of a harder material for mounting points. For a fuel

Tank probably want to take advantage of the dual extruders to print all the support surfaces in water soluble filament to make them easier to remove. Then things like antislosh flaps, dividing one corner out for reserve, ensuring that there’s a clean tube for the cocaine and money to drop into. Peoples all about smoking diesel, I ain’t dying to smoke no 2% mix, hell, by kits ask for 3%

TLDR: I’m gonna make a small tank out of

TPU then rub it down with farmer snake oil and see how it holds up. I already sent one Maxi to Valhalla, I ain’t skeered to do it again.
