Re: Fuel Valve For Columbia Commuter

now by fuel valve i think you mean a shut off switch if so they can be obtained at a lawn moer shop

i get the feeling you got this for free it looks almost brand new

but ive got the same moped but mine is a 1980

We have the original German made fuel valve (petcock) for that model. A lawn mower valve will be made for 1/4 inch fuel line rater than 3/16 inch fuel line as used on that model moped and a lown mower valve will not mount to the metric male threads extending from the fuel tank nor will it have the built in fuel filter or reserve feature.

Re: Fuel Valve For Columbia Commuter

Hi, I am looking for this same part. Gas is leaking right out of the switch, as if a seal has gone bad. Do you still have these petcocks for sale?

Re: Fuel Valve For Columbia Commuter

I’m sure. It’s only 20 years later.

Re: Fuel Valve For Columbia Commuter

You can get the fuel petcock from Treats and for less than $30.
