Does anybody know where is the serial number stamp on the frame on a 1977 pacer. I'm not looking for the foil sticker in front of the fork tube. The dmv in Jersey requires both copys of serial numbers.

The frame can only have one vin number. Look on the motor to see if you can see a different number and use that as well.
CA on the application they ask for a frame number and a engine number but very few bikes have a engine number so I ALWAYS use the frame vin and write it in both boxes

The number on the foil sticker is the vin, It is a 7 digit number preceded by a star. The frame should also be stamped on the fork neck brace under the gas tank.

I have this exact moped. The frame number is stamped on the back of the steerer tube. You have to remove the gas tank to see it.
