Thanks Sean, yeah that kickstarter conversion would be ideal. Can’t find a donor though and not much on ebay.
Good idea on the manual choke, might be something I look into at some point. The high idle I noticed is probably when the auto choke shut off the additional air and the air mixture screw was in too far. Need to get it idling for 8-10 minutes or until that auto choke heats up and drops the needle then make the adjustments.
Got the turn signals all working yesterday, front left was no good. Traced it back to a rusty ring connector. Hoping to get the starter issue resolved soon as well. I’ve read that some of the internals from a suzuki lt80 can be used in the mitsuba starters.
