I just installed a new 42mm too end kit on my pacer super sport...
I bought the ped seized a few months ago and the plan was to keep it simple.
I got the old piston out of the cylinder but the walls of the cylinder were too far gone to just put a stock size piston in.
So I got the 42mm kit and now I need some help.
What carb or jetting is a good starting point and suggestions on a pipe?
The bike is bone stock with no mods except for the 42mm kit.
I’m hoping by me upgrading to the 42mm I didn’t over complicate things

Enlarge the stock air filter holes, put in a #58 jet, put a see-thru paper inline filter under the tank, get a mild pipe for more durability. Replace the top end wrist pin bearing if it has wear.
So no major porting or buying a bigger carb?
COULD be your carb is a little small. A 14/12 Dellorto with a 58 jet should be good with a mild pipe . No, I never do porting because I like 38-40 mph and 100 mpgs.

No, I think it's racy, but you just jet to it.
Any idea who makes a mild pipe for the Morini?
I bought my few pipes at MopedwareHouse years ago. They are mid-range for hill climbing performance.
I do not know ,but I'll bet Blake here or someone does know.
The 42mm kit I got had a steel head gasket. Yesterday I started the bike and it was literally pushing exhaust out of the head gasket. 😞
I removed the head and installed the stock 50cc gasket...too small, the piston touches it.
I ordered new gaskets, a mild pipe and some jets
I’m trying to find a big bore fiber head gasket but no luck so far
Just cut it out of a piece of copper sheeting or aluminum.
Remember to re-torque the head after it cools down after you've run it a coupla hours. (edited)

The mk3 pipe is very mild, but also save your money and run the stock pipe. The ride will be better, that's what they designed kits for.
Dont get the mk3 pipe, I have one, and it blocks off my center stand. Get a slip on exspansion chamber, and clamp or weld it on to the stock header. Its much cheaper too, good luck!
I ended up getting a universal mid range pipe. I’ll fabricate a header and make it work.
Made some quick engine turned side panels ... makes it look fast 🤣🤣🤣
I have set these up with a dellorto 15 sha with the 14 Intake. I put around 74- 80 jet in there I really don't remember exactly. it hits nicely. Pipes are hard to come by I'm looking for on now but probably gonna hack up a stock header with a chamber. I modded a Puch low end pipe it was a lot of shaving on the header end to fit.
Some updates.
The pipe came today so I’m got to work.
The header was slightly different so I cut it off 1” below the flange, elongated the flange Mounting holes to match the 60cc studs, made a few adjustments to tge overall angle and welded it back together. I also made a quick mount for the pipe that picks up the stock hanger.
Installed the 58 jet. I still have to remove the top end and port match the block.
I had a pair of 80’s Honda xr100 handlebars,, removed 4” out of the width and 2” off each bar. I bowed the crossbar and welded it all back together. I love reusing shit from the shop.
