It was idling for 10 seconds when I heard a click noise and it shut off. Now it won’t turn over and after I took it apart the cranks seems stuck, is a za50 worth a rebuild?
You seized the motor. Was there oil in the gas?
You can rebuild the ZA with an aftermarket crank and do bearings/seals while you're there but you'll need to deal with the shimming. Or sell the ZA (still lots of good tranny parts in there people need/like to have extras of) and fund an e50 with the funds. A lot easier if its your first motor rebuild
Did you replace the shift pucks when you got it? Transmission fluid? Pre-mixing 50:1? If the conrod is not moving you either seized your big end bushing or your clutch side of things has major issues
Yes 50:1
Did you have the clutches out to flip second? The clutch nut may have backed out.
doesnt sound seizy to me, Now whens the last time a motor been burned up idling, ok lots but theres no piston damage so it couldnt been that hot. open up the covers something probably jambed.
Check flywheel side first
Exactly, coil came loose maybe and jammed the flywheel or something like a nut, screw, washer is stuck in the fly wheel
