Honda SS50 (1974)......original.....0 miles ?

Any ideas on this ?.....on offer on ebay. First thing that struck me was I don't think those pedals are original Honda (just general bicycle pedals). It has a tax disc from 1974.....so taxed but never ridden ? Possible,I suppose.

That bike has been ridden plenty. The seat sag will tell you that. Maybe they swapped out the speedo for a new one.

Yeah I'm 90% sure those pedals aren't original either

Probably right .

Here's a pic of OEM pedal from the English version :

I doubt it's got zero miles on it unless it was in a crate its whole life.

id say most likely they reset the speedo or slapped on a new one for 30$

Like my CL, but with goddamned pedals in the way. Pretty, but not 0 miles.

Oh well......someone has bid £3800 which I guess it would be worth if it was new....otherwise about £2500 tops, I reckon.

It's definitely not worth that in its current state. It's one thing to restore a bike, but to try to pass it off as never ridden 0 miles makes me extremely suspicious of the seller.

I've seen these bikes from people who have brought them on ebay. Total garbage, all Chinese parts put on a salvaged frame from some foreign country.
