^WillD nailed it. It just depends on your personal situation. I recently moved to the RVA area from NJ because my children and grandchildren all live relatively close by. I also like the milder climate of VA. I like the fact that now I can ride more months out of the year. I no longer work, so employment is no longer an issue for me.
These are the kinds of factors you need to consider. No one can make that decision for you. (edited)
